• I have seen three types of results, since I use the Trace Minerals from POWER HORSE. Horses in Florida are notorious for their bad feet and the ongoing hoof cracks. Since I started to supplement POWER HORSE Trace Minerals I have been able to trim their feet every three weeks and the cracks have disappeared. Consider that I don’t shoe my horses and that both the Veterinarian and my Farrier think that the feet are doing wonderfully in spite of this and the Dressage training. I first noticed in one of my client’s horses that the coats looked so good. These horses were properly cared for with a professional groom; but now they had an extra glow to them. So that also was a factor for me to use the minerals. The third important result is that the conditioning of the horse is much easier. I am giving only two thirds of the ration that I used to give. • Some of my clients started using the Trace Minerals from POWER HORSE while I worked on their horses. What I saw after a few weeks was that the growth was very noticeable. There was a line of growth coming down from the coronet band, which looked like an environmental line. I also saw a great growth on the sole area, which is hard to obtain with regular products. The hardness of the new material of the hoof is much better than supplementing with biotin or methionine; more resistant. One interesting trial that I did was to compare the hoof trims from horses that are supplemented with the minerals, with others of horses not treated with the same product. What happens usually is that the trims of the hoof dry out and curl very fast. These trims of the material treated with POWER HORSE Trace Minerals stayed in their shape and didn’t curl. This shows that the material is harder. You can identify a sole of a horse that is being treated with these minerals. • I used both the Trace Minerals and the Joint-Plus from POWER HORSE. I had three horses with problems at the barn. One of them is foundered and could not walk. This horse started on POWER HORSE and after some days started crossing the road to the paddock, when he could hardly walk before! To the point that he is using shoes again! Another horse of mine, a 19 year old, has had a cyst in the coffin joint. I knew this when I bought him, but it wasn’t a lameness issue then. As the training progressed it got worse. • I have been using the Trace Minerals for Almost 7 months now. At first I used them on my ex-eventing horse that had retired. Since it got here to Wellington from England, he had been lame on-and-off during the past year that I had him, due to the different type of terrain and footing that we have in Wellington and the many lesions that he endured during the eventing career. There was nothing else we could do, since most lesions were in soft tissues. We had been using COSEQUIN, but it didn’t make any difference. We were told about this trace mineral product and we tried it. For the last seven months he hasn’t been lame once. There were some changes on the shoeing and choices of the work surface; but I haven’t had a Vet-bill on this horse for the last seven months. • Hi! I purchased your POWER HORSE product from Trudy Holloway at the HBHA in Georgia in November 2003. I had talked with several vendors there that were selling products to improve hoof health. I chose to purchase POWER HORSE over the biotin products and I am pleased with the results.
  
  I have an arabian mare with brittle hooves. She split a fore hoof last year and it cost me several hundred dollars in vet, farrier and supplement fees to correct but even a year later the hoof continued to split. • CARAY TUYA LECHUZA Argentine Polo mare, in July of 2001 this horse presented a very big seedy toe in her left rear leg, which caused her to cancel her participation on the Palermo Show for that year. We started her with the standard antibiotic treatment. From that moment we noticed that her hoof started weakening, with a propensity to peel and break; becoming prone to seedy toe. Her soles would feel sensitive for a couple of days after placing the horseshoes.
  August 8th, 2003: We started giving her 2 oz of POWER HORSE. We took pictures.
  August 21st, 2003: We clearly noted a fine line of growth between ½ and 1 cm; her general health improved and also her hair acquired shine. We took pictures.
  
  September 01st 2003: We put shoes and noticed growth on her soles with good hoof quality; growing approximately 1 ½ cm or more, not showing breakage in the nail area, when it previously used to. It also allowed us to clinch when shoeing, something we couldn’t do before. We took pictures.

• Thank you so very much for the POWER HORSE powder for my foundered horse. It is still very early in Sadie’s treatment program, as she still has very bad days and very poor days. Sadie’s treatment has been two shots of ace a day, fifteen pills twice a day that are supposed eventually replace the shots, lots of carrots, timothy hay, vanilla ensure and, of course more recently the two scoops of POWER HORSE twice a day. I have to say that I see improvements in being able to pick up her feet to clean them without having to hold her up or having her fall over. She is standing more now where previously she would lay down 90% of the day.

This was going to be a long season, since I didn't have many horses and my goal was to play without injuring any horse. Since they started the season in good shape, the changes were not too noticeable; but they didn't deteriorate in shape and they maintained very well throughout that time. Almost every season we end up with horses with sore shoulders, or sore hooves, or with abscesses in the fore feet. This year none of this happened, in any horse. My brother, who also plays 22 Goals, told me not to play my horses for more than 3 months, so they wouldn't be exhausted. I could not do this, since I didn't have enough horses available. With the POWER HORSE I played them between 4 and 5 months, which was the length of this season and I finished with all of them in perfect shape. The horses never went lame and never lost energy. Generally, after 2 or 3 months the horses get tired, they become hard in their mouths, they start getting tendon injuries and problems start to appear.
  
  This last season was very long and none of this happened. I associate this with the use of the POWER HORSE Minerals, since this is the only thing that changed in the normal routine of my horses.

• Abeeyad Sharab – “white socks” in Arabic, or Sox as he is known – was foaled on Kentucky Derby day (May 2) 1992. His dam was half Welsh and half Hackney, beautifully conformed and extremely intelligent. His sire was a black Arabian from the best Polish/Russian and Crabbet bloodlines. When he was born, sox was normal in every aspect, but before he reached one year of age, it became apparent that he had developed two conformational faults. One, a clubbed front hoof, was fairly slight and caused no significant problems. The other fault was more severe and would eventually cause Sox much more pain: the tendons in both of his front legs were contracted.
  
  Sox got along well for the first several years of his life at the barn where he was boarded, doing light trail work and keeping company with his younger paternal half-brother, Sunny. Around age seven though, Sox’s condition began to deteriorate. He suffered of both front tendons. The pain in the tendons caused him to shift his weight onto his rear end and try to stand on tip-toe in front; an unnatural position which made his entire body sore.
  
  Although no clinical diagnosis was made, I believe that he may have foundered.
  
  Hard, dry ground in summer and frozen ground in winter caused even more pain in his tender soles. Worst of all, this former “easy keeper” couldn’t graze comfortably enough to maintain a healthy body weight.
  
  By age ten, when Sox and Sunny were moved to their new-permanent 12-acre pasture, Sox was caught in a vicious cycle. His quality of life was declining with every passing day. Anti-inflammatory medication and corrective trimming and shoeing provided only temporary relief. Food supplements and topical treatment seemed to have no visible effect. The horse who had previously been known as the “barn clown” due to his intelligent and playful nature no longer initiated games with his brother. Sox couldn’t even walk without limping severely, almost to the point of falling with each stride.
  
  Out of curiosity and a burgeoning sense of desperation, I attended Dr. Cortelezzi’s laminitis seminar at the Oak Ridge Riding Club. The scientific research and especially the testimonials, gave me hope that perhaps POWER HORSE would enable Sox to reach a tolerable and controllable level of pain and give him back some of his zest for life. The next morning, I started Sox on the recommended double dose of POWER HORSE.
  
  Within two days, I had witnessed a miracle. Not only was Sox walking with little or no signs of lameness, he was beginning to play games with his brother again! After a week had passed, Sox was trotting sound and was enjoying getting to know Rosie, my new mare. • Welcome to Halycon Horses! My name is Charlie Cremeans and I want to share a success story with you. It involves my 2 years old Paso Fino mare Kasi and a terrible disease called Laminitis. Kasi began showing signs of Laminitis on August 29, 2002 and was immediately placed in the care of an excellent local veterinarian. Despite traditional medical care and all I could do, she continued to digress and finally foundered. X-rays showed a 15 to 18 degree rotation of the coffin bone with the attendant protrusions through her hoof soles. At this point she was laying down 99% of the time. My veterinarian recommended that she be euthanized which I could not bear to even consider. As fate and the grace of God would have it, I had recently attended a horse clinic in Cleveland, TN where I was introduced to Dr. Carlos Cortelezzi of Miami, Florida. His presentation at the clinic centered on the result of a 3 year case study which he had directed. The study was on a 550 horses using a composition of naturally chelated trace minerals as a supplement to improve/prevent laminitis. I immediately started Kasi, as well as my other two horses, on this product “POWER HORSE”. Within 10 days if using the POWER HORSE, Kasi was standing. Her most recent x-rays showed the coffin bone angle 10 to 15 degrees with no further rotation.
